Epic win from Champion-powered BMRT 3D Maxxess Nevers in EWC 2021
The BMRT 3D Maxxess nevers team wowed audiences with their impressive performance during the 2021 season of FIM Endurance World Championship! We have powered the independent French team to a remarkable superstock class victory. Such a spectacular performance also saw the team crowned overall winners of the 2021 FIM World Endurance Cup.
Pushing their bike to the extreme, the trio of skilled riders, Anthony Loiseau, Jonathan Hardt and Julien Pilot managed to release the full potential of their Kawasaki #24 throughout the entire season.
The team kicked off the season at the 24 Hours of Le Mans where they finished in second place in the Superstock category. Later, at the 12 Hours of Estoril, they clinched first place in the Superstock category and sixth place in the overall standings. The high point of the team’s impressive performance was at the Bol d’Or. Here, the French team secured an impressive third-place podium finish – an achievement that has eluded Superstock teams since 2014! Moreover, they were also crowned overall winners of the 2021 FIM World Endurance Cup.
Unfortunately, in the final event of the 2021 season, the team were forced to withdraw. Nonetheless, they closed the season with a series of impressive results: a silver and a gold medal in the Superstock category, bronze on the EWC podium and becoming overall season champions!
Resulting from the combination of BMRT, a new team launched by Romain Mangé, and 3D Endurance, BMRT 3D Maxxess Nevers built its foundation on French Endurance races – the 24 Heures Motos and the Bol d’Or – before officially joining the FIM EWC in 2018.
As an Official Technical Partner of BMRT 3D Maxxess Nevers, we have supported the team throughout its extensive testing programme, preparing it for the full throttle action of the FIM EWC races.
“We are still in shock, to not only get the Superstock win but a podium, it is truly a dream come true. Champion Lubricants has played a critical role in our success, supporting our development and testing for the FIM EWC Superstock class,” said Romain Mangé, the team manager of BMRT 3D Maxxess Nevers.
Yves Decat, Brand and Experience Manager at Champion Lubricants, also commented: “It is fantastic to see the BMRT 3D Maxxess Nevers team not only secure the FIM World Endurance Cup but also achieve an overall podium finish – the first in seven years”.
“As a Technical Partner, Champion Lubricants has supported the team throughout testing, providing critical insight into lubrication challenges and helping Kawasaki #24 maintain peak performance in some of motorcycle racing’s most gruelling and demanding events.
